“The Hope That Outweighs Hardship.”
In this season, may our focus be on the eternal blessings of God and not on things of this world.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18

Thank you worshipping with us on this Palm Sunday. Jesus enters Jerusalem amid the cheering crowds, Hosanna in the Highest. Pastor Kelvin challenges us to with this question, are we looking for a King for a day or do we want a King of Kings for eternity.
Matthew 21:1-11

Praise be to God for Jesus! Jesus is our Great High Priest!
Christ is Risen! Christ is Risen indeed!

The best and only way to overcome our fear is to have faith in God!
And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you,O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10

Jesus shows up to give us His love and compassion when we become discouraged and need his presence in our lives to comfort us!

Jesus says, I am the door. If anyone enters by Me he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. John 10:9

Elder Naomi tells us that we should give our Mothers these four gifts:
1. Give Her Affirmatiion
2. Give Her Affection
3. Giver Her Acceptance
4. Give Her Attention

Pastor Perry tells us that You cannot love God without obeying God and You cannot Obey God without Loving God.

When you bless others, you are blessed; when you give out, you receive;when you empty yourself, you are filled.
Thank God for what He placed within you and how He wants to use you!

He made covenants with them and gave His law to them. They have the priviledge of worshiping Him and receiving His wonderful promises. (Romans 9:4)

If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14

Put God ahead of everything you do. Being obedient to His word . Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. Proverbs 22:6

Christ presence is here with us and he draws us together as one body.
The Body of Christ is strengthened, and Jesus is glorified when the Body serves one another in humility and share blessings in unselfish love. In Jesus Christ we have new life!

Pastor Kelvin reminds us that only faith can make us right with God and our faith should be completely depended on God and is the only source of our salvation.

Elder encourages all of to love all of God’s people. We are all children of God saved by His grace.

In All Things Give God Thanks. Praise is due you, O God, for you answer our prayers.

And Mary said: “My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he is mindful of the humble state of his servant.”

Pastor Kelvin reminds us that we ought to want to live a life that points to the goodness of God and a life that is guided by God’s plan for us.

Elder Naomi reminds us that faith is the evidenced of things hoped for yet not seen. In all things we must always have faith.

In all things we do we should stand firmly by Christ, walking with HIm and not at a distance watching in silence.

God uses our faith to help others develop the eyes of faith so that they too, may begin to believe without having to rely on sight.

Pastor Kelvin shares words of encouragement for today with a short devotional.

Pastor Perry reminds us that every step we take should be a step with God

The Promises of God- God doesn’t just want you to know about HIs promises, but He wants your faith to actively reach out take them as your own. God is the Truth!

Prayer is essential to the Christian life and everything we do and how we live should be centered around prayer.
Jesus prayed for us! John 17:21-26

As followers of Christ, we can be confident that all things work together for good.

Pastor Perry challenges us to show love to others without any condition Let God’s words heal us, encourage us and guide us.

Always be full of joy in the Lord. Rejoice!!
Philippians 4:1

Salvation is the undeserved gift from God that we receive through our faith in Christ.
Salvation Is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. We are God’s masterpiece and he has created us anew in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 4:9-10

God is Love, and all who live in Love live in God and God lives in them.  1 John 4:16

Pentecost is a time to renew our commitment to live as a vital member of the body of Christ, using our gifts to build the church and share the love and justice of Christ with the world.

The Great Commission compels us to share the good news until everyone has heard it.
Remember that the power is in the message and not in the messenger.
“For it is God who is at work in you, enabling you both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
Philippians 2:13

Pastor Perry reminds us that because of Christ we have been reconciled with God. Our sins have been forgiven and accounted righteous in God eyes.
Therefore, since we are justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.   Romans 5:1

To pray the prayer of promise, you need to get clear in your mind the things that are always true about God.

Good and upright is the Lord. Psalm 25:8

 

We must have faith that is completely depended upon God’s power and provision when are faced with adversities in life; and our personal Savior, Jesus Christ, will deliver us out of ALL our troubles. If you have faith as small as a mustard seed.. nothing is impossible for you! Matthew 17:20

Salvation is gift from God. Our salvation is by faith and if you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. Romans *:6

 

Elder Naomi begins our Season in Advent by reminding us that no matter what adversities we encounter, God is with us- here, now and always.

God is Love. The love we show for one another will prove to the world that we belong to Christ.

Our own baptism should remind us that Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross took care of all our sins. When we accept Him as our Lord and Savior, we are renouncing the sin in our lives and in this world.

Pastor Perry reminds us that we should always begin our day with prayer .

The Kingdom of God is about the work of the Holy Spirit It is about loving God who invites, forgives encourages and builds us.

When Jesus is your guide and we allow Him to take the lead, we can be led by the Holy Spirit to go in the right direction.

Faith is the evidence of things hoped for yet not seen.

The Character Of God. Because we know the Character of God, we can trust God.
God is our refuge and strength in ever-present help in trouble. He says Be still, and know that I am God. Psalm 46

Gone are our transgressions, and now we are free- all because Jesus was wounded for us.

He himself bore our sins that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. 1 Peter 2:24

Praise be to God!

“Be strong and of good courage, for the Lord God is with you wherever you go” Joshua 1:9

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.      Ephesians 2:10

When the Spirit of Truth comes, he will guide you, into all truth.
John 16:13

Our prayers must always be God centered and
when we have a God centered prayer life, we can let go of any of our resentments, doubts or fears.

Pastor Perry reminds us that God is available 24 hours a day;7 days a week. He is eager to hear our petitions and welcomes our prayers of thanksgiving.

Prayer is the open admission that without Christ we can do nothing.
Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He is always interceding for them. Hebrews 7:25

God made everything about us and He made us with love. We are designed with a purpose and each of us are unique.

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Psalm 139:14

No matter what we are going through, we are to give God all the honor and all the praise because He is God.

I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak of His praises. Let us exalt His name together. Psalm 34:1-3

 

God is always faithful!. He will supply all our needs and will take care of us.

With every test of faith, we must believe God has a good purpose for whatever He does and for whatever He allows to happen in our lives.

“All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purposes. Romans 8:28

Elder Naomi reminds us that God is for us! Christ gives us hope of eternal life- a life that is both enduring and blessed- lived in the presence and love of God.

Having faith in Christ will help you overcome any fear that you may be experiencing today. Christ should always be the object of our faith. Our faith is strong only when the object of our faith is strong. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Hebrews 12:2

Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude 1 Peter 3:8 .

In every situation, by prayer and petition, and with Thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Elder Naomi tells us that we can find Christ where we are in our lives. He is offering life and forgiveness.

We were made with purpose, every talent, gift, and occupation have a place in the Kingdom of God. God’s forgiveness, His mercies, and the grace is available to us every day through Jesus Christ.

Pastor Kelvin reminds us to turn away from sin and serve the Lord with all our heart. God never leaves us nor forsakes us.

Jesus paid it all. Let us now live in the hope that this Resurrection Sunday offer alll who have come to know Christ as their Savior.

Elder Naomi reminds us that God will supply all our needs. He will never leave us or forsake us because He is the “The Good Shepherd”
